The Nelson farm
The back place belonged to Alex's grandma Janet. She was a teenager when her family took it on and she is 93 now, so it has been in the family somewhere close to eighty years.
This is where the farm is headed. Rain capture, canning storage, a wood stove for backup heat, a smokehouse. The infrastructure that turns a season into a way of living.
